North Area Committee
Area Committees are part of the democratic structure of Oxford City Council and are responsible for several items including planning applications. For more details click here.
The North Area Committee of Oxford City Council meets at the North Oxford Community Centre and all meetings are open to the public. The regular monthly meeting starts at 5.00pm for planning issues and 6.30pm for non-planning issues on the first Thursday of each month.
The list of agenda items discussed at each meeting is available in advance at local libraries, Oxford City Council offices and on this website.
Low Carbon Oxford North
Low Carbon Oxford North is a new voluntary Community Action Group of local people who want to take practical action to tackle climate change in our community. Their aim is to promote sustainable living and they
are looking for households to take part in their Carbon Busting campaign. For more details click here.
North Oxford Association
The North Oxford Association operates the NOA Community Centre at Diamond Place, next to the Ferry Sports Centre, and also at Cutteslowe Pavilion.

This is a centre for local people to join, where they can drop in and have a drink and a chat with other members.
It is also the venue for a wide variety of clubs, groups and courses

Neighbourly Help
People who live in North Oxford (in the area north of St. Giles and including Jericho, Wolvercote and Cutteslowe) who need assistance may be able to get help from the Association.
So if you really cannot get to the doctor's surgery, or cannot keep that appointment at the local hospital, need a visit for whatever reason, cannot get out to the shops, or even find it difficult to exercise the dog they will try to help.
