AA 5* Boutique-styled hotel

Burlington House is a large Victorian merchant's house dating from 1889 offering high quality B&B accommodation to Oxford's many visitors.

Without disturbing its Victorian elegance the house has been totally renovated, resulting in a stylish and luxurious bed and breakfast hotel. Burlington House is situated in Oxford's premier residential area of Summertown, less than 5 minutes' bus or taxi ride from the centre of the city. The 16 en-suite bedrooms are dedicated to the comfort of our guests and are stylishly decorated to the highest contemporary standards.

All rooms have a telephone, TV, tea, coffee and home-made cookies. Our guests can enjoy a comfortable sitting-room and Japanese courtyard. We are passionate about food and will only serve food of the highest quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice, free-range eggs, home-baked bread, granola, Greek yoghurt, freshly-ground Lavazza coffee and Oxford Breakfast Leaf Tea feature at breakfast daily. You don't have to be a vegetarian to savour our renowned mushroom and cheese omelette or special field mushrooms on toast.

Burlington House has been consistently awarded the highest accommodation rating and is now Five Stars Highly Commended under the new AA scheme. The hotel has been recommended by both the Which Guide to Good Hotels and its sister publication, the Which Guide to Good Bed and Breakfasts.

For those wishing to stay for longer periods, our recently-renovated serviced apartment is now available.
