Contemporary sculpture in a peaceful garden in the heart of Summertown

The Turrill Sculpture Garden shows contemporary sculpture in a peaceful garden setting behind Summertown Library, OX2 7JN. It is freely open to the public.

Our exhibitions each year are designed to be varied: those that encourage children to be creative, group exhibitions of local sculptors and national level sculptors in solo exhibitions. We bring together an ever-changing series of fascinating sculptures in this peaceful garden setting, and most pieces are for sale; all profits being re-invested in the Garden.

Times of opening are Monday & Friday 09:30-17:00, Tuesday & Thursday 09:30-18:30, Saturday 09:00-16:00, Closed Wednesday & Sunday.

A Music Sculpture Exhibition

To complement our 3rd Summer Music Festival we bring you music galore in the form of sculpture:

Notation and Instruments carved in ytong by Bronwyn Sibley; Beethoven and fine stone players by Isabel Knowland; musicians and songbirds in metal by Cherry Jaquet, and more songbirds made from recycled cutlery by Ed Hill.

Come and listen to the magic of jazz and classical music on four Saturday afternoons and be inspired to take home a beautiful piece of sculpture for your own garden too.
